Ordering and acceptance
By placing an order on this website you agree to these terms. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the order is accepted when we confirm it by text, call or on-screen confirmation. Until that point we may decline an order. For example when an item has sold out, an address falls outside the delivery zone, or a price has been listed in error.
Prices shown include the food only. Tax, delivery and any tray-equipment charges are itemised at checkout before payment. If a price is obviously wrong we will contact you and either honour the intended price or cancel the order at no charge.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details and address you provide. Orders that cannot be delivered because of a wrong address or an unanswered phone are held at the restaurant for two hours and are not refunded.
You must be sixteen or older to place an order. Menu photography is illustrative; portion weights on the menu are the binding description. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Illinois or federal consumer law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes go first to the manager at the address above, and only then to the courts of Sangamon County.
Delivery and pickup
Zone and cost. We deliver within six miles of the restaurant. Delivery is $4.99, free on food totals over $35. Addresses outside the zone are offered pickup instead.
Timing. Pickup is ready in twenty-five to thirty-five minutes; delivery lands in forty-five to sixty. Friday and Saturday evenings run longer and the confirmation screen shows the estimate for that moment.
Handover. Drivers call on arrival and wait five minutes. Contactless drop-off is available in the special instructions field. Alcohol is never sold or delivered.
Catering delivery. Tray delivery within twelve miles is $35 flat, with chafing racks at $8 per tray refunded on return. Set-up takes about twenty minutes and the driver stays until the racks are lit.
Catering and deposits
Tray orders are confirmed when the deposit clears. Orders over ten trays take half up front with the balance due on delivery; smaller orders are paid in full on delivery.
Final counts can be adjusted up to forty-eight hours before the event. Increases depend on our capacity on the day; decreases inside forty-eight hours are charged at the confirmed count.
A 5 lb tray serves eight to twelve people as part of a spread and an 11 lb tray serves twenty to twenty-five. These are guides, not guarantees.
Food is cooked to be eaten within four hours of delivery. Once trays leave our racks, food safety and holding temperature are the customer's responsibility.
Payments and secure checkout
We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, and pay-by-link. Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant provider over an encrypted connection; we never see or store full card numbers.
Regular orders are charged at pickup or on delivery, not when the order is placed. Catering deposits are charged when the order is confirmed. Every charge shows on your statement as BIRYANI AROMA LLC.
Total price, tax, delivery cost and any equipment charge are displayed before you commit. There are no service fees, subscription charges or automatic gratuities.
Suspected fraudulent orders are cancelled and refunded in full. If you see a charge you do not recognise, call us before contacting your bank and we will trace it the same day.
Privacy and your data
We collect what an order needs: your name, phone number, delivery address where relevant, order contents, and the last four digits of the card used. Reservations also store the date, time and party size. Rewards members additionally give us a birthday if they want the birthday reward.
We use this data to cook and deliver the order, to answer questions about it afterwards, to run the rewards programme, and to keep accounting records the tax authority requires. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Data is shared only with the processors that make the service work: our payment processor, our SMS provider, and, for deliveries beyond three miles, the courier partner handling that trip.
Order records are kept for seven years for tax purposes. Write to Biryaniaroma@outlook.com to see, correct, export or delete what we hold; we respond within thirty days.
This site stores your cart in your own browser so it survives a page reload. That storage is functional and cannot be switched off without breaking ordering. No third-party advertising pixels run on this site.
Allergens and food safety
All meat is zabiha halal from two certified suppliers. There is no pork or alcohol anywhere in the building, and vegetarian dishes are cooked in separate pans with separate utensils.
Our kitchen handles dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, mustard, sesame and fish daily. It is not an allergen-free facility and cross-contact is possible, so we cannot guarantee any dish is free of a given allergen.
Tell us about an allergy in the special instructions and by phone. The manager keeps an allergen sheet for every recipe at the counter and will walk the menu with you.
The premises hold a current city food-hygiene inspection certificate, displayed at the counter and available on request.
